Beauty Detangled, LLC (d/b/a "Ditch the Dogma," "we," "us," or "our") operates the EVIDENCE tracker at tracker.ditchthedogma.com (the "Service"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a password. Your password is encrypted and is never visible to us directly — it is handled by our authentication provider, Supabase.
As you use the tracker, you may choose to enter personal wellness information, including but not limited to: sleep data, heart rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate, workout details, food and fasting logs, caffeine and alcohol intake, water intake, mindfulness and reading notes, journal entries (Morning Pages), and gratitude entries. All of this information is entered voluntarily by you.
We also automatically receive limited technical information, such as your IP address and general usage data, through our hosting provider (Netlify) and database provider (Supabase), for the purpose of operating and securing the Service.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the tracker, including syncing your data across your devices
- To maintain and secure your account
- If you opt in at sign-up, to add your email to our email list (via Flodesk) so we can send you updates and communications. This is entirely optional and only happens if you actively check the opt-in box.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who We Share Information With
We share information only as needed to operate the Service:
- Supabase — our database and authentication provider, stores your account and tracker data
- Netlify — our hosting provider, serves the website
- Flodesk — our email marketing provider, receives your email address only if you opt in to our email list at sign-up
We do not share your wellness tracking data (sleep, HRV, food logs, journal entries, etc.) with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypting data in transit (HTTPS) and using access controls so your account data is only accessible to you. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices and Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at paula@beautydetangled.com. We will respond to and fulfill reasonable requests in a timely manner.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email we send.
Children's Privacy
This Service is not directed to children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date.
